Hi!
We are a looking for two people, ideally a couple or two males and a female to help us out on our farm. We are a retired couple who live on a large aquaculture farm, and in exchange for 5 days of work/week for approx 7 hours (weekends off or any two days of your choice) we will provide you with private rooms, all food, laundry and happy to pick up and drop off in Townsville or Ayr cities.
We are looking for help with daily chores, cleaning and general farm work, no special skills needed just two hands! We are looking for at least a one week stay minimum.
We have been living on this farm for last 26 years but unfortunately in our older age we need some help now! We're very down to earth people, like have BBQs on weekend and going fishing (which your welcome to do here too!) and swimming. The farm has a huge river that we swim in and also backs onto a creek which goes out to the ocean that provides great fishing. Please feel free to contact via email or phone.

NB - January to March are our wettest months and not suitable for visitors most years.

We are a family with four adult children (who sometimes visit us), two young teenagers and a baby. Together we work, learn, grow food and connect with our local community. We have lived here on our mostly-organic farm for about 10 years. It is approximately half rainforest and half pasture. A permanent creek borders one side of our property and offers clean water, swimming, wildlife observation and a relaxing place to visit.

Our aim is to continue to clean up the farm and plant more gardens, orchards and native trees (including bushtucker), with an aim to produce a lot of our own fresh food. These areas need weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, fencing etc. We have a chickens, cows (and sometimes calves), and one cat. We have had horses, dogs, a pig, ducks, guinea pigs, other poultry in the past. We love animals.

There will be ongoing building projects at our place as we maintain, rep... more inside

Your helping could include organising, cleaning or repairing things around home, office or outside.
I have a workshop shed for building and gardening. If you have handyman or construction skills great! There will be some small projects or painting to suit you. For guys you must be able to use power tools and be willing to work in a garden.
Inside duties-prefer a female-some cleaning and organising around the home and my office. If you can sew by machine or hand -fantastic!
Perhaps cleaning windows and in the garden replanting, trimming trees and weeding. Perhaps Computer work- placing ads for resale of household items.

Best suits solo guys (or girls) on 1 year visas and 24-29 years who dont mind getting their hands dirty and want a fun home to base themselves for a while and be a part of a good Aussie lifestyle. My guys leave fit and with a good suntan raving about the food!

I don't have time to teach you all the basic skills so preference will be given to those who ... more inside

We own a fully working sheep station in Western Qld. In late January and February our annual shearing of the sheep will occur, with plenty to see and do. If you want to be a part of this busy and exciting time please contact us.
We are a happy family that love where we live and the work that we do. Our property is remote so would prefer to have a English speaking couple.
Your own A/c cottage with all meals provided. I'm not going to lie it does get hot out here, but it's all part of the experience.

Hi.

We are Thomas(25) and Leah(29) and Theodore (under 12 months).

We have bought a beautiful little farm in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and would love some willing helpers to make our dream for the place possible.

We have been fixing up the old house and now we are ready to begin our journey to self-sustainability.

To date we have two horses.

We are trying to begin constructing a orchard.
We will also be planting a vegetable and herb garden.

We also have some construction projects happening.
- replacing the deck
- mending fences
- re-establishing chicken pen
- building a hut/ space for workers to stay
- Building a greenhouse
- Building a fire pit

Work on the farm is quite flexible.
There are many things that we need help with.

E.g. construction, mowing, weed control, planting, animal care.

Couples are welcome.

We are fun outgoing people who love sharing with other cultures.

We are both musical so musicians are very welcome.

We will be ... more inside
