Hi there,
We are looking for a man/girl Friday (or two if you are travelling in pairs) to help with some landscaping/gardening,OR we would like some one with carpentry/ building to help hang doors, do a bit of painting. We have many projects on the go :)
If you like the sea you could even try your hand at a spot of oyster farming.

We live in beautiful Port Stephens, 15 minutes from surf beaches and beautiful bays. The whales come past in the autumn and return again in the spring. A pod of dolphins have made Port Stephens their home.
We are 40 minutes from Newcastle, about an hour from the Hunter Valley wineries, (just a short walk to Murray's Brewery) and 2.5 hrs north of Sydney. There is a bus stop near our gateway.

We live in the mountains behind Bodalla on a beautiful rural property that has a creek running through the middle and joins onto the Tuross River. We have a mud brick house that has several seperate living areas and we grow most of our own vegetables. In July to October we have cut flowers that have to be taken to market. January to April we are digging and also planting out Daffodil bulbs.
We have a very friendly large dog and no other animals that need caring for.
There is not a lot of hard work to do at any one time just constant little jobs. Its a calm peaceful life and area.
We will not be having helpers here during the months of May and June 2017

We are a young family of 3 living in beautiful Scotland Island, just 45 minutes north of Sydney's CBD. Greg is an animator and I (Tina) am a mental health researcher. We are both currently working full-time and are looking for a bit of help around the house and garden, and perhaps a day each week to take care of our 3 year old boy, Heilo. We are easy going and friendly, and love good music, food, wine, coffee, art, travelling...the list goes on!

You would have your own room in our 4 bedroom house, and room and board would be included. Our house is set among the gum trees and has views of Pittwater from our deck. We are frequently visited by friendly lorikeets, parrots and cockatoos, and countless other critters that call the island home. We have two decks, a bbq, hammocks, and a kayak for you to use, and there are is great bush walking, exploring and swimming moments away.

We are flexible on the working arrangement, but our preference would be 1 work day (~9h) of looking af... more inside

We, Miles and Merlene, have a macadamia farm on the outskirts of a town called Alstonville, which is on the plateau. It takes about half an hour to drive to beautiful Byron Bay from home. Ballina airport is really close to us so can always be met there. Bus route (Country Link) also comes through the local village of Alstonville. At the moment we are doing odd jobs around the farm and garden. We will also be pruning the macadamia trees and planting shade grass. We are looking for one or two willing workers for four hours a day to help work on the farm orchards and general work around the house and garden in exchange for accommodation and meals. Oh yes, I also have two gorgeous ginger cats.

Macadamia farm in the Byron/Ballina hinterlands.

Need help with farmwork, yard work, cleaning and cooking and be approachable to young children.

We are a British couple who emigrated to Australia about 7 years ago. 4 years ago we bought a macca farm in the beautiful Northern Rivers and now have a young family, a chilled out 1 year old girl and a very energentic 3 year old girl.

We have a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a pool and stunning views over our orchards and beyond.

Accomodation would be in our house, in a room with a queen size bed, the other end of house to hosts so you won't be disturbed if the children wake. The room has a sliding door out onto back verandah where there is lounge seating, deck chairs, a hammock and bar stools.

We are not on a bus route so own vehicle is ideal. Although we would be happy to pick you up from and drop you at local transport hub. Lifts to town and beach would be offered depending on availability around our work schedule and ch... more inside

We live on the Mid North Coast in the beautiful Camden Haven area at Laurieton. North Brother Mountain is our backdrop and the Camden Haven River is at the end of the road. North Haven beach is an easy 4km bike ride along the picturesque river on a bike track or a 5 minute drive.
Laurieton is a small community although we have a library, swimming pool, Coles, various other shops and several awesome cafe's, op shops and fabulous picture theatre. There are local yoga studios and Port Macquarie(larger city 30 min drive) hosts more restaurants, pubs, music etc.

I am looking for help painting an outside section of our home and some gardening/yard maintenance, in return for accommodation, food, conversation, use of pushbikes, wifi and access to ocean and river swimming. There are several National Parks with walking trails close by.
Hours of work required each day would be 3-5 hours depending on the temperature and staying 1-2 weeks.

The down stairs area of our home has a separate... more inside
