Would you like to visit a 72 hectare school camp and farm running sheep, cattle and horses? The setting is in a valley on the edge of the Great Dividing Range. We offer a large range of activities to clients who are mostly school children. Activities include horse riding, flying fox, wall activities, canoeing, fishing etc etc. Volunteers may participate in activities in their free time when groups are staying. Cultural exchanges are an important part of our lifestyle. We prefer volunteers who are genuinely caring towards children and animals. You also need to have good english skills and be fit and fast, able to assist with gardening, seasonal farm activities, cleaning, kitchen, office or even work with clients. No children, no pets. Smoking permitted but not in front of clients. Looking in particular for experienced horseriders but non riders welcome.

***** UPDATE - HELPERS NEEDED FOR CARNIVALE THEMED HOUSEWARMING PARTY *****

We just had two people pull out from the party, if you're after a place feel free to contact us via our mobile number above (text messages preferred).

We're having a housewarming party on the 21st of March and require three helpers to give us a hand with set up, pack down and some general party stuff. Beer and food provided during the party. Dates required are approximately the 19th to the 24th. Total work will probably amount to 10 hours across the whole time. We're a relaxed group so an easy going, open minded attitude is best.

***** END UPDATE *****

We're now getting settled into our new place. We like to host for between one week and ten days at the start of each month, however we're flexible on the exact dates.

To view a calendar of when we're free (or when we have people already to be more specific) click on our website link above (or go to this address: www.tinyurl.com/cshouseofsincal... more inside

We do not need help until June onwards.

We have an orchid, bees, veggie patch, chickens, sheep and alpacas to guard the lambs, as well as gardens and trees, you could help look after these for us. Or you could hold the baby, run some errands, help with the evening meal, tidy up the kitchen, play with the dog or get out the vacuum. Or a combination of all of the above.
You will have your own room with bed, TV, desk, wardrobe and drawers, shared bathroom.

We live in a small house on a 3/4 acre block in Healesville, a beautiful town in the Yarra Valley.
We have a spare bedroom and can accommodate a couple of helpers at a time.
We have recently moved into the town after 28+ years on a Co-operative Community (Moora Moora)nearby.
We are starting work on the garden at our new home, and it's a daunting task on our own, so some help would be wonderful. We love the movies, and have a great cinema in town, and like an excuse to visit some of the local beauty spots & parks.

This is a boutique broodmare farm at the foot of the high country and we are looking for ongoing helpers for year round work.

It would be appreciated if, in return for weekly accommodation at our farm, workers could work 4 days per week, which would include 2 shifts of 3 hours each.

Public transport to both Mansfield, and the High Country, and Melbourne, is available twice daily via V/Line bus at the Merton General Store. Popular local tourist destinations include Mt Buller, Mt Stirling, Craig’s Hut, Lake Eildon, Bonnie Doon, Wonnangatta Station, Sheep Yard Flat & the High Country. Many popular local events can be found on the Mansfield Tourism Website.

The farm's structure is focused on horse safe facilities for a range of breeding stages and is also perfectly positioned for workers to spend their leisure time exploring the local tourism and countryside.

It is staffed by equine qualified owners who provide mares with individual and personal attention and onsite veter... more inside

This is a busy working farm with plenty of work but at the same time offers a lot of fun for guests. We run a horse rehabilitation, agistment centre and a private college educating hoof care professionals. We also stand our Heritage Stock horse stallion at stud and breed several foals every year. With this in mind we have a need for capable riders to help with the education and work of these young horses starting under saddle.

The rest of the farm runs beef cattle and some stud sheep. Stock work on horseback also allows the workers to see some amazing countryside from horseback.
Guests will need to be able to show initiative, work independently and speak reasonable English, as we need to ensure the welfare of our animals comes first.

We have a beautiful old home, large garden, large pool and two lively children, Sophie and Emma.
Duties include gardening, some housekeeping, animal husbandry and general farm maintenance.
We prefer girls who have experience with horses and h... more inside

living the dream, I am trying to establish an artist/ healing space close to the city of Melbourne..
I have a yurt which can accommodate up to 5 people, a drop toilet and a shower..
The closest town is 25 minutes so your own car would be an advantage..
I will happily feed you..
It's a starting from scratch project/ blank canvas.
I need help building a few structures including bicycle gates, a few green houses, a pyramid squat toilet with flying trapeze, art studios, 2 more yurt stages, a sweat lodge, a performance stage, a llama palace and also converting an old caravan in to a mobile chicken coop = the possibilities are endless and I am happily open to suggestion.
I am off the grid and only using recycled materials..
I would love a little help getting creative, swailing and concocting some natural sources of energy. eg: wind turbines..
I would also like to go all permi creating herbal, medicinal, fruitiful gardens in geometric patterns..
I have a hill with a grandiose ... more inside
