We live in a very pretty, very rural part of Dorset.

We have a big and rather wild garden. we have recently been hit by the storm and now have loads of fallen trees. Whilst some will need moving professionally, it would be great for to have someone to start clearing. This may require using a hand saw or chainsaw. We also have plenty of strimming and clearing.

We have a couple of ponies and a couple of sheep, chickens and a dog. all low maintenance but obviously they all need care which i will mostly do

We have 4 children, aged between 8 and 4. if we were to have a couple, then i would like help with the general up keep of tidying up the house after them. I dont require child care but would require someone to be flexible and open minded.

length of stay, tbc

We would need a person or people to be quite switched on. See where help is needed. There is a poss car available and a pub within walking distance!

I live in a vintage Showmans Wagon in an ancient cider apple orchard surrounded by horse and vehicle drawn wagons in varying states of build and restoration.I have a large workshop and various outbuildings along with a shower block and privy.Although living here is basic it's comfortable and vibrant.
I would love help with the restoration and building of the various current projects which could include anything from Gypsy wagons to cabins.
I would also like to start a vegetable garden.
I share my home with Archie,a donkey, who will happily pull a cart to the village shop.
I am happy to share my skills with people who are keen to learn and help.No previous skills are necessarily required just a positive outlook.
If any of the above interests you please get in touch.

Two of us live in a large edwardian house in London, in the attractive green suburb of Muzzle Hill, in north London. Some general help is required in the household and the garden. In addition, my husband has had a stroke and is confined to a wheelchair, thus assistance with helping him get around would be fantastic. Anyone willing to give a hand is very welcome. Helping is need as and when, with plenty of time off to be agreed on. Accommodation in our house consists of a large private bedroom. Meals are also available.

We have two holiday cottages and specialise in welcoming families with autism and special needs. The first picture below shows the cottages and the second one shows the seating area in the paddock.

Helpers will stay as part of our family in our Victorian Farm house. We have two spare bedrooms. At certain times of the year it might be possible for helpers to stay in one of the cottages. Free wi-fi available.

We have two teenage boys with autism but only Adam is living at home now. We have a dog, two cats, rabbits and chickens.

We always have general maintenance jobs to do on the cottages and the grounds such as painting, mending fences, repair chicken huts, gardening, tree planting and pruning. We would like to clear and redesign our front garden which has been badly neglected for 4 years! We also want to put in a large pond in the paddock. If it is raining we have plenty of decorating to do inside our house. 5 hours work a day would be good but we can be flexible. ... more inside

We are a friendly, sociable family with two young girls (aged 2 1/2, 11 months) and our German Pointer in lovely Somerset. As I (mother, native German) have a slipped disc in my back we are looking for a person (female) that likes children and ideally animals as well as there are several horses too. Required is help with the children and general household duties as I mustn't do any lifting for six weeks.
The position would be to start as soon as possible and for a period of approx 6 weeks.
There is a direct bus connection from Wincanton to London Hammersmith and approx. 40 min to Bath.
Please contact me if you want to discuss anything or you have any further questions.

We are looking for a French speaker with decorating experience to paint the exterior of our house and to help us to improve our conversational French.

We are Rosemary (a teacher), Dan (an engineer) and our daughter Imogen, who is 16 years old.

Rosemary is taking lessons in French and Imogen is studying it at school, so having a guest who will provide 3 hours of French conversation per day would be much appreciated.

Our home, Belmont Cottage, is a detached house in a pretty village called Headley in the North-East part of Hampshire, with shops, a church and two pubs.

Headley is about 1 hour away from London which makes it very convenient for a day trip to its many theatres, shops and sights.

We are within 5 kilometers of spectacular beauty spots such as The Devils Punch Bowl, Waggoners Wells and Ludshott Common.

Great Frensham Pond, which is also about 5 kilometers from us, is popular for sailing and swimming and has a sandy beach which is a perfect spot to visit in... more inside

I started my smallholding in Norfolk on a 2 acre plot of council land in October 2012 so everything is still pretty new and increasing all the time. We currently have a couple of pigs(and loads of piglets!), turkeys, chickens, ducks and lambs as well as 3 guard geese. Jobs currently include building pens, vegetable beds and chicken huts along with the general clearing and up keep of the land and day to day care of the animals, both at home and on the farm.

I live on the edge of a town with good transport links to Kings Lynn, Ely and Cambridge. The farm is 7 miles from home and so you are more than welcome to bring your own car but otherwise would travel with me to and from the farm, or I can provide a bike. Wi-fi is available at home and we are also walking distance from the local Library.

I live at home with my parents and brothers so it can get very busy. There are a few basic rules we would like you to abide by when staying with us which will be explained to you before or... more inside

We are a friendly, sociable family who live in a rural village in Dorset, south west England. We have 3 boys ages 6,5 and 3. I (mother) have broken my leg and require help with childcare and general household duties.
We are looking for a happy, fun, can-do person (male or female)!
Because I'm currently immobile, there will be an opportunity for some one on one language tuition while the children are at school/nursery.
There might also be scope for earning some cash by gardening/babysitting etc for other local family friends.
This position would be to start as soon as possible and for a period of approximately 6 weeks (but that is open to discussion and there is also a possibility of moving directly on to another local family).
Please contact me if you want to discuss anything or have any questions.
