Qualified carpenter preferred, but anyone handy will be considered.

We are a young family of four. Kacey 29, Anton 32, daughter 2 years and son 4 years. Previous to kids we travelled Europe doing Help x and we loved it. We loved meeting new people, gaining lifelong friends, getting REAL local experiences and learning new skills. We would love our children to grow up with all kinds of walks of life!

We recently bought an old beach shack in absolute paradise. One of the best small beach towns on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Perfect for laying on the beach, surfing, fishing, diving and just chilling. We are slowly renovating our place and there are lots of little projects going on such as gardening, landscaping, painting, earthmoving and building a deck.

We love the outdoors, surfing, hiking, adventuring, bbqing and just having a good chat on the deck around the fire.

We have a downstairs level with 2 bedrooms and a hangout space available for helpers but you will have to share a bathroom with the family (upstairs).

Looking forward to ... more inside

We are located on Scotland Island, a water access only community located north of Sydney. This tranquil island is only 45 minutes north of Sydney, though you would never know it. The bush setting is teaming with kookaburras, parrots, cockatoos, and wild wallabies roam just minutes away in the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park. Swimming, kayaking, and boating are all available directly from the island.

We are looking for a person/couple to help with yard work (weeding, mulching and so on), home maintenance, and perhaps some light housework.

We offer a self contained accommodation with separate entrance, small kitchen, and bathroom.

We would like to find a couple who may have their own accommodation (i.e. caravan) and would like to help us mainly with our garden and other odd jobs around the house - someone who is handy with handy man jobs would be great but not entirely necessary. Mainly outdoor work.

Hi. This is an amazing opportunity for a couple or a few people to live, work and explore this incredible area and property.
This place used to be a world class eco retreat that has been left for years and needs so love to bring it back and beyond its former glory.

We hope to have an enthusiastic couple or a few people to get stuck into painting, cleaning and general restoration while here.
We can offer the main bedroom loft which is majestically set in the heights of the jungle under a sky light looking at the stars.
We have openings of time that people can stay depending on the bookings and gathering we have on. This is a truly unique and special place especially for nature lovers.

We are a happy family of three with a little one on the way, living, working and creating in our little patch of paradise in Northern NSW. We have 5 acres as part of a multiple occupancy community, that makes up a total of over 300 acres in subtropical rainforest. There's an incredible abundance of wildlife which we share the land with and together we are working to create a sustainable lifestyle for ourselves. We live in an off grid earthern house that is slowly being restored with a subtropical fruit orchard and vegetable garden. We are also beekeepers, biochar makers and passionate about fermented foods.

Help:

We have an abundance of different projects always on the go.....learn about earthern building techniques e.g cob, mudbrick, light clay straw and various rendering finishes. Help us finish our hand built bessa brick compost toilet/ outdoor bathroom. Tend to and learn about the unusual subtropical fruits of our orchard. Experience the making and science of biochar and c... more inside

I am writing on behalf of my friend who is an elderly lady, needing companionship and some assistance with preparing meals. The property is set within 40 acres and some garden maintenance would also be appreciated.
My friend, Tina, has had a truly remarkable life and, I'm sure, would be happy to share a story or two with you. Being a member of the resistance during the Second World War, she rescued countless lives by risking her own, guiding them through occupied Austria to safety.
Tina lives with a friendly dog and cat, outside of picturesque Jindabyne, high up in NSW not far from Mount Kosciuszko; the highest peak in Australia. Tina is fluent in German for those wanting to learn. You will be very comfortable staying in the house with Tina, having your own space and shared facilities. It would be great if volunteers have their own transportation. Longer stays of around 2 months are preferred. You'd really be helping out someone special!
The area is a hidden gem with the town s... more inside
