I'm a young man on the road, don't know where to but I want to go interesting places and meet good people, outside of the city and its rushed life.
When growing up, I spent a lot of summers at my grandparent's summer home in the countryside of Russia. Sweltering summers spent chasing down butterflies, swimming in a spring-fed pond(before it became overgrown), reading old National Geographics from the 70's and 80's... As well as helping my grandmother protect the potato plants from Colorado beetles and avoiding the tiny, slightly crazy WWII veteran Vasya who walked around in a massive greatcoat and lived off of vodka and cat food(with his many cats, of course).
So country living has been etched into me, at least a bit.
Now I'm no carpenter, or welder, or electrician, but I'm an enthusiastic learner and honest worker. I have a vision of creating a community of people who have been let down by their ultra-consumerist societies, and who want to create a place where they consume simply... without a great deal of fuss or anguish over a new coffee maker not working, or being stuck in line at the mall on a Saturday morning.
