Hi everyone. I am a 26 year old American guy here in Australia on a work/holiday visa. I've been living in Sydney for the last six weeks and am starting to make travel plans for when I leave here in a couple of months. I have a crazy plan to tour across Australia on bicycle. I will either make the trip from Sydney to Perth, or up the east coast to Cairns. I haven't quite decided yet. Both trips will take between 4-6 weeks and will be a great way to experience Australia. If any of you are interested in making the trip with me, or even just part of it, let me know.

Hi. I am a 26 year old student from Texas, USA. I recently received my Bachelor's degree in anthropology, with a minor in archaeology. I have spent the last two summers working on an archaeological dig in Pompei, Italy. This year, after the project, I will travel straight to Australia where I plan on helping out hosts and gaining as much knowledge as is humanly possible.
Aside from archaeological work, I have experience in customer service and in animal care. Working my way through school, I've spent the past five years bartending and managing at a local restaurant. I have also spent quite a bit of time working and volunteering at multiple animal shelters and wildlife preserves. Although I have no experience working on a farm, I am extremely comfortable around large animals, as well as performing hard manual labor. I am a very hard working and reliable person, and I pride myself in being someone that can be counted on and trusted. I would like to find a host where I could put my existing skills to good use, or one where I can learn something new altogether. I am a very quick learner and am always open for a new challenge.
