Helper Description:
Wanting to do a couple of weeks of Helpx-ing at the beginning of September in Portugal. Have experience of manual work including basic building (stables and field shelters), inside DIY (pretty much anything including painting, decorating and basic renovation), outside DIY (creating paths, terraces, cementing), land maintenance (land clearence, use of trators, lawn mowers and chainsaws, pruning trees, vegetable plots). Am used to pets and larger animals including horses, and have helped out on a livery yard on and off for two years including maintaining paddocks, sand schools, chain harrowing with tractor, building field shelters, chopping wood for winter and creating new paddocks. Grew up with dozens of pets around the house also, love all animals.
