Helper Description:
I am useful and both, willing and happy, to learn new skills in life. I will help with almost anything you need help with.

I am courteous, friendly, easy going, clean after myself, and a good worker. I value privacy, mind my own business, and would like the same manners respectfully returned to me.

I try to get to know someone first through observation and initial communications before opening up new conversations, as it is courteous to both of us. I respect and appreciate people as authentic individuals, please beware I am one too.

I like to get out and ride a mountain bike, hike, or play in the ocean and catch waves. I enjoy swimming often and other water activities. I like creating art and learning new things. I want to learn how to surf again, and do it often!! (I did it in Costa Rica when I was 19, several Kiwis were sailing around the world and taught me how to catch waves- I haven't had the opportunity again since then.)

Pets and kids like me.

I think I would like to own and live on a boat some day. I like learning about off-grid living, organic plants, and self sufficiency. I hope to have my own land someday as well.

A Good First Experience:
The best part of helpx in NZ for me was that I lost a lot of useless weight/shape, due to eating healthy organic food with people on farms. I am much skinner, healthier, and happier from the work, diet, and reduced stress. I have grown from my social activities with travelers and Kiwis.

What I have learned with helpx:
So far in NZ: I learned hedge trimming, pulling weeds, cutting out maggots in lamb wool, cleaning a bnb room and wiping fly poop off, a wee bit more on gardening...enjoyed outdoor solar powered showers.

My Skills:
Professional hairdresser, basic computer technician, CDL school bus driver, security, waitressing, a bit of temp housekeeping at hotels, general house and yard work growing up, including painting the inside and trim of houses, fences, etc...
