Looking for places to work and live. And other people to work and travel with after i've finished my Biodynamic-farming study in may-2017. I want to build up a network through working with people on farms, horse ranches, agroforestry practices or permaculture communities, things up that alley. While i'm working I want to experience if the people and climate suite me and if I suite them. The idea is that I find honest work for honest pay ;) I hope through conversating with locals and collegues I will come by a piece of land that is affordable for me. So that I finally can put the gathered knowledge and experience to practice on my own lot and create a place of abundance for myself, lots of other critters and the local communitie.

Helper Description:
I always loved the outdoors, sharing food and drink or other goods with friends and pull of a prank or two.
At a certain age, like 15,
I became aware what humans asked of nature, it's live and resources on it and I really disliked it.

As a young one I missed the influence to make a big difference in world wide affairs so I decided to start learning about techniques that allow me to live in balance with nature, its critters and resources.
So that when I achieve this know how I could show family and friends that it is possible to live with nature and still have a kick ass time.

Self sufficient living, permaculture and using plants for healing gave me hope for achieving this state of a more balanced way of living.

I kept living the city live and going through basic things that a kid needs to go trough as a upcoming citizen, while at the same time taking in as much as information and knowledge from people who came before me that took the road of wisdom.

All that theoretical knowledge is awesome but knowing stuff and not have the room to put it to practice is a pain in the arse.

The Netherlands is packed full with people, houses, cars, industrial lots and monoculture-farms.
So buying or renting land is to expensive for me and a big loan from a bank is the last thing I want.

So my eyes are on places where there is more room left for nature, where the population is less dense and where people appreciate other people, I like to put in work for a place and people that want to work and live together.
You know, a neighbourhood or village where you look out for eachother.

Currently i'm in the last year of my 4 year study for Biodynamic-farming.
I have done a lot of field work during the study in diverse sectors.
Worked on two different dairy-farms, an apple and pear-orchard, big monoculture farm and a gardener who grew herbs in a greenhouse.
I also did a halfyear internship at an awesome softfruit-farm.

You could categorise me as an allrounder. I love to work with animals, fascinated by fruit and nuttrees, able to communicate and work with mentaly-disabled people and mentally-able people as well...
I have a certificate for working with a forklift truck and have a driving license for the tractor and car.

My working experience is diverse.
I did the dishwasher job for a while, later got the opportunity to work with the chef and cooks in the kitchen.
The son of the chef offered me festivalwork, done this for several seasons in a row.
A lot of hard work but much fun as well.
We have been to alsmost all the citys in the Netherlands for festivals were we build up the food stands, cooked and sold food and drink, broke the stand down.
Done mindnumbing factory-work.
Worked at an postal office for sorting out the post and packages.
Sold herbs, vegetables and fruits on the market.
Did retail work, helping customers, organizing the products in the displays and shop layout.
Worked for a cleaningcompany were I cleaned office buildings.

Thats it for now lads and ladies.
Please ask for details or anything!
