Helper Description:
Glad that you click here!

I'm Ray from real middle of Taiwan, whatever vertically or horizontally. The small town of Taiwan island is surrendered by heaps of mountain ;D

Helpx is thought to be a freshing way to do, especially for travelling, understanding muiltculture and learning new things. That’s why I’m here.

I'm interesting in lots things such as different cultrue, stories, scuba diving, climbing, movie, music, news, wine and something new.

I love literature, animals, nature, discovery, coffee, tea, sciences, art and buildings.

The latest breakthrough was that I could make lovely kimchi. I will be happy to make some if you like spicy too.

Where I have been to is most of east coast. My first stop was Cairns, and then up to Cape Tribulation and kept going down to Noosa, Brisbane and Gold Coast.
After that, I flew to Melbourne and visited stunning spots such as Great Ocean Road, Grampians, Wilsons Promontory National Park and many historic town.
And now I am in NSW! Blue Mountains, Bondi to Bronte beach, Wollongong, Newcastle and hope to see you. :D

=== about the review for host 26556 from me ===

I’m sorry for having had to say that but it was a must.

Three reasons why I wrote it are listed below as I feel that these would be helpful in understanding what happened if you wish to know.

1). As it was not true, harmful rumour made people surprisingly angry. Pete, the owner of 26556, wrote a review to friends of mine and mentioned they are “drug related” as their first review. He lied about it and it might ruin their helpx experience afterwards.

2). We worked EVERY DAY. When my friends and I were asking for a day off during our stay, he SHOUTED us “you only work 2 hours a day to exchange your accommodation!!!” But the point was not about the hours but about a day off for exploring Whitsunday. We worked from morning to afternoon every day, past midday so we didn’t manage to have enough time for the amazing offshore area (hiring boats is only in the morning). And how could he shout like that?
Plus, extra negative point was that we actually worked 4 hours a day as it was in a busy season. Even sometimes 5 hours a day, without any food provided, for his business.

- The first day we arrived from different place, he told us “you work 2 hours every day.” And yes, 2 hours. But he wrote 4 hours per day on the page. I don’t know why.
- “This is not a real Helpx. You work as an employee” other people (from different period of staying) wrote on their review.
- When I arrived there, I met some nice co-worker but they soon unsatisfiedly left the retreat in 1-2 days. They didn’t want to write a negative review in order not to be written back.

3). Many things were different from his description on the page.

- “Thanks for your honest review its helpful !” I received an expression from other people. I can show you if you’d like to see :)

PS. Jules was quite nice but another person didn’t treat people well.

=== positive points from the first helpx experience ===

However, It was still a great experience for me. I will tell you why.

Two people from Melbourne I met have been playing significant roles to introduce wonderful Australian, and they open a new character of nice Australian lifestyle for me. We still keep in touch ;D

When I worked there, a few customer from Asia couldn’t communicate smoothly. Did appreciate by Pete, I could assist in communication and translation which was fun for me as well. By that I mede friends and I was invited to visit their countries.

The working time was so happy and we had lots of fun there. All the co-worker are smart, nice and quite professional. We never did the same place twice B-)
