Hi ..... Female helpers needed up untill early July.....could do with help gathering firewood....and pruning trees...
Homestay and Christmas Tree farm. Help needed with both. It would help if you can speak a little English. It's general labour. We will be working outside most of the time and I have a dog at my house so not suitable if you are allergic to dogs or pollen. There is a lot of bending down when pruning.
At the home I plan on painting, cleaning and gardening. At The Christmas Trees we will be pruning the trees and cutting back weeds. You would be asked for five hours per day, five days a week in return for room and board. Food will be supplied but you may sometimes have to cook for yourself. While I do not eat meat I will supply it for you.
The area I live in is beside the Glen Of Aherlow, with the world famous Rock Of Cashel and also Cahir Castle twenty minutes drive from here. We are one and three quarter hours from Killarney National Park. It is a quiet co... more inside

Hello and Welcome to the Midlands of Ireland!

I need ONE PERSON ONLY from the middle of May.

There is not much 'Helping' to do here. This is more about being here for when I travel for a few days every month and I need someone to be here to look after my dog. There is some light housework. You need to be someone who likes dogs and living in a quite rural atmosphere and can amuse themselves easily. There is a train station next to the cottage and you are free to go on trips whenever you like for a few days at a time as long as I am at home.

If you like to meet other travelers, I can also invite people to stay from 'Couchsurfing' to spend a few days at the cottage. You can also invite your own friends to stay here for a few days at a time.

You need to like dogs to stay here and will find that my "Paddy" is very friendly also!

Clara is a typical Irish town set in rural countryside. Staying here will suit you if you enjoy dogs, reading, writing, studying, walking in the ... more inside

Would you like to spend a little while in Ireland's medieval capital, Kilkenny!?? We are looking for someone to start immediately.
We have a position available right now for a few weeks to a few months!

You'd help us with general duties, cleaning and making beds. There will also be lots of time to hang out with the other helpers, meet the hostel guests and have a great time in Kilkenny.
We are also happy to chat about things you're good at too. So if you can take amazing photos that we can use on our website, or you're great at blogging, or want to organise social activities for our guests then tell us!! Let's chat about what you'd like to do and see if it would be good for us :-)

Things are a little quieter now in Kilkenny so as well as our normal day to day activities we've been cleaning/fixing things to get the place looking great. We'd like you to help out 3-4 hours a day. Of course you'll also get weekly days off too! It would be amazing if you had experience in a host... more inside

Hi,
I'm a self employed healer/ writer into health, wellness and consciousness. I have a spare room and was wondering if someone out there with skills in business, such as graphic design, mail chimp, photoshop, making nice posters, marketing, editing etc would like to swap their skills for a nice place to stay. I'd also love some help with marketing the website and getting my page number 1 on google!

In addition to working as a healer/ writer, I am co-founder involved in a wellbeing in the workplace business. We supply talks and workshops to organisations. I also have room for a good IT person to come along for a week or two and help ensure our email system/ documents/ google analytics and general connections are correct and advise us on best practise.Social media and online marketing skills also welcome!

I live in a nice little house, in a beautiful location; lake, hills etc and eat good food, mostly vegan. I love living well, peacefulness and enjoying each day. Interests i... more inside

Thank you for taking time to read our profile!

Since 2012, hundreds of people from all over the world have applied to volunteer with us and I have lost count how many wonderful people have joined us and we are very grateful for their help. Some come for two or three weeks; most come for two or three months and some even stay for a year! Others have come back for a second, third or even fourth visit. It's best if people come for at least 2 months as this gives time for them to settle in and experience a lot more.

We live in a small traditional west of Ireland village which has a theatre, sculpture centre, nice pubs and lots of sports clubs. There are lots of hill walks and outdoor activities nearby and we are a 30 minute drive from the Atlantic Ocean. Nearby are three larger towns that have public transport (train or bus) to Dublin, Belfast, Londonderry and Galway. The closest international airport is 1 hour away, with flights from Britain and Europe.

I enjoy nature, peop... more inside

We are currently emerging from Winter and starting to look for 2018 volunteers. We welcome applications for April 2018 onwards till about October.

Hi from a relaxed, friendly nearly-retired couple who love to 'host' and welcome our volunteers as if they were family. We are a 1 hectare smallholding with sheep, poultry, pigs (in summer), an out of control vegetable garden and plenty of 'wild' bits, in NW Roscommon. You are welcome to try some (fully supervised) livestock tasks at the appropriate times of year (moving stock, dealing with families of baby chicks, sheep shearing and foot trimming etc). We try to give guests a mix of jobs and nothing too awful! You will get mowing and tidying but also, if we can, jobs for which you have stated a preference. Our most recent volunteers asked for 'wood-work' - we had plenty.

Our house is 150 years old on the outside, 5 years old on the inside. Your room will be warm and comfortable as well as private but you will be welcome to treat ... more inside
