About our Place:
Our place consists of a house, Holistic Centre, outbuildings and garden area. It is in the heart of a rural part of Ireland, a small village called Donamon, which is approximately 15km outside of Roscommon Town. This makes it a great location for a peaceful and relaxed stay, whilst being fairly close to Roscommon town. We are also a short drive from a number of great places to visit. There is no public transport from Donamon so you would need a car or bike to travel anywhere that is not in walking distance, although we are happy to give you a lift if we are going into town, etc.

Set in a rural environment it is an ideal location for a relaxing break, a retreat or fishing, walking, etc. whilst providing us with some help. We are a short walk from the river Suck and Donamon Castle.

We offer a tranquil setting where you can escape from the distractions of modern day life. Our aim is to provide a peaceful and quiet environment, suitable for relaxation and retrea... more inside

Hi, we are looking for a person(s) to help us in and around our home on the island of Inishbofin.
From the end of February through the end of May, we would need someone who could assist with construction work (converting a shed into a kitchen), masonry (building a stone wall), and sheep farming (feeding and day to day checks).
For the month of June, we are looking for someone to help with kitchen prep, help with child care, help making family meals, and light housework. We have set up a food business in a 1968 Double Decker Bus. We have two beautiful young boys, aged 2 1/2 and 4.

If you are interested in one of these posts or are keen to do a bit of everything, please contact us. All references welcome.

Needless to say, we require a strong work ethic, a sense of humour, kindness, and patience. All things we try to maintain ourselves.

We would like 5 hours a day, 5 days a week in exchange for accommodation in our home, all meals, and free wifi.

**** I am OK for Help at the moment ****
The house is a new house built to Passive House standard in the countryside with a large garden landscaped, designed and maintained by me. The garden includes areas of Native Irish planting as well as more traditional country garden.
I need some help with the maintenance of the garden and offer food and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours work per day. It is not necessary to have any previous experience of gardening in order to work for me. The work consists of weeding, pruning and general gardening tasks. At times I may also need help with housework. I would like helpxers to come for 3 to 4 weeks at any time of year.
The accommodation I offer is a comfortable twin room in the house with use of WiFi and my helpxers live as part of the family.

Because of the changeable weather in Ireland I am flexible as to the hours and will agree with my helpxers times that suit us both! I expect my helpxers to be flexible too.
