We normally accept helpers for a minimum of two weeks.
Peaceful location in rural France.

We have vacancies for building decorating and carpentry. Then next year once weather permits we are be looking for help with building a shed, laying paths and decking, decorating and gardening.

We are non smoking and are seeking helpers that do not smoke. Helpers should be happy to live as part of the team during their stay, we would expect this to involve helping prepare meals and the inevitable clearing away after.

We accept vegetarians but cannot cater for vegans.
We accept both skilled or unskilled people. We need people able to work on their own initiative. We will show you how to do the job and provide the necessary equipment and protective clothing although you need your own footwear suitable for outside work.

We are a young retired couple (58 and 59), travelling several months a year around Europe with our camper.
We speak English German and some Greek. Greek people are very welcome , who have always offered us such a nice hospitality as well as Australian and Kiwi who where so generous with our daughter during her WHV.But of course travellers from all over the world are welcome !

Our house lies 5 km far from "le Touquet", next to Etaples a small fishermen harbour,10 km from Montreuil sur Mer,nice and rich historical town.
We're 45 minutes from Calais and the shuttle.
There's a lot to discover in the area and the beach isn't far at all. you will enjoy the small swimming pool under the veranda when the weather becomes colder and the fire in the chimney in the living room.

Our very big garden requires helpers most time of the year when we're not on the road.(Work would include pruning, cutting wood, weeding ) Furthermore we're undertaking some renovation works in the house when... more inside

Hi, we are a Belgian/Dutch couple living in the Charente in France. We live in a farmhouse with 5 dogs and 8 cats. We also have 4 horses that live out in a herd and are never stabled. We believe in keeping our horse as natural as possible , so no bits or horseshoes and no rugs in wintertime. My husband is retired and I have stopped working so we have lots of time to make long walks with our dogs and to play with the horses. I use Parelli natural horsemanship to train the horses. Only two of our horses can be ridden. But I like to take them out for long walks in the countryside. You are welcome to join me on one of our horses if you have riding experience. There is also a mountainbiketrail that runs next to our farm. We have bikes that can be used. We live in a small hamlet and the nearest village Brillac is 5 min away by car. The nearest town is Confolens which is 15 min by car. It has supermarkets, a saturday market and a few restaurants.
We are looki... more inside

Do you want to travel, meet people and gain some new skills? ..... come and join us if you do.

The team currently comprises Carl, Anais, Dylan (chocolate lab), Jazz (demented working cocker spaniel).

There are 5 C17th stone cottages, 5 stone barns, a ruined cottage, a heated swimming pool plus nearly 30 acres of woodland, meadow and a steam: all set in the beautiful rolling Morbihan countryside just 25 miles from the stunning southern Brittany coastline.

The aim this autumn / winter is to build a wooden barn from recycled timber; layout a campsite; bring the woodland back into active management utilising low impact silvicultural systems; cut, split, move and stack firewood from our own sustainably managed woodlands; strip and then sympathetically renovate the interior of a beautiful C17th stone cottage; maintain the grounds and winterise the swimming pool; domestic cleaning and cooking; clear overgrown woodland tracks and derelict fields; feed the chickens and cats; and man... more inside

This is an old farmhouse with 2 gites which operate through the summer months. It is in a very rural area but within easy reach of Albi and Gaillac. The medieval village of Cordes sur Ciel is within walking distance and can be seen from the garden. Ian and Judy are retired teachers and enjoy a lifestyle which includes plenty of humour and good food, as well as maintaining and developing the property and its grounds.
We are looking for help with small building projects such as decking, pizza oven construction, bathroom renovations, tree felling, painting and decorating, gardening etc.
