Recently a widower I am looking for a lady with ability to cook nutritious daily meals from ultra modern kitchen as I am useless! Of course I will provide all the food.

A friendly lady who can help around the house with all the normal cleaning etc that a house requires. Possibly help with walking my gorgeous female dog in the wonderful surrounding countryside would always be appreciated.Hopefully a lady who can do some light exterior jobs such as occasional gardening (all marble chipping covered flower beds), external painting on balustrades etc and re-varnishing of garden furniture etc. A international driving licence might also be a huge asset for the lady as I have a second car that could be made available.

You must be totally honest & trustworthy, easy going with no "old baggage" or "hangups" and possess a friendly enthusiasm to help out with normal daily chores. Hopefully a lady with an outgoing bubbly personality and ability to enjoy the simple things in life such as goo... more inside

Last year I rented a cliff top finca (a plot of agricultural land)in Maro. The views are beautiful. It was a wasteland and we have spent the last six months clearing it and settling in.
We live walking distance from Maro village to the east and a lively tourist town with virtually all facilities, called Nerja, to the west. There are good bus connections to Granada, the Alpujarras, Malaga and surrounding towns.
We would love some help getting things done.
A person with some experience in DIY, odd jobs, permaculture(not essential), or organic gardening, carpentry skills would be fantastic.
We live an OFF GRID lifestyle, simple and basic with bespoke wooden Caravan and 2 Mongolian yurts. We have solar hot water for an outside shower and a bath in the yurt, and it is a lovely 15 minute trek, or a 5 minute scramble down the ravine, to our local beach you can see in the picture. There are other beautiful beaches that you can walk to along the coast, and lots of caves to explore.

We are Juliette and Paco (English and Spanish) living in a small village near Granada in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in southern Spain. I am looking for someone who can cook Chinese and or Indian regional dishes, I like to cook these myself but would like someone who has some expertise perhaps since childhood. Some cleaning work too.
We offer own room and meals in beautiful house in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada, southern Spain. If you want to come for just a week or two that is fine. We can make you feel at home and help you get to know the local area. All amenities are close by, two supermarkets (five minutes walk) and bars ( five minutes away), chemist and bank. Granada, the magical city, is a 25 minute bus ride away and costs 1.60 euro. We have a very regular bus service once an hour. La Baltasara is a 2-acre organic small holding situated in the Genal valled, Serrania de Ronda, Andalucia, close to the white village of Benarraba.

The land has no road and is accessed via a steep rough path, about 10 minutes walk. We are completely off grid, self sufficient in water, electricity (limited to 80W solar panel) and firewood. There are over 100 productive fruit and nut trees, mainly citrus but also pears, plums, figs, apricots and more.

We have vegetable gardens planted around the fruit trees that are irrigated by a bordering stream via pipes, drippers and sprinklers.

The land is owned by my sister and myself, we live separately but share the access, the water and some of the vegetable gardens. Helen usually has a small community of volunteers living on the far side of the land. She also has two donkeys, a dog and cats. Cooperation is required between parties on both sides of the land to keep the water supply flowing and to ensure and to maintain irrigat... more inside

ABOUT US: Iím a Spanish teacher from Brazil, married without children. I work all afternoons from Monday to Friday (after 3p.m.) and twice a week I do voluntary work teaching Spanish, mainly to refugees and asylum seekers. My husband works for the health service. Both of us can speak English and Spanish, besides that my mother tongue is Portuguese and I can get by in French.

I can provide resources should you want to improve your Spanish or Portuguese. However, I do not want to spend my time teaching - whereas Iím perfectly happy to help you with both languages, including giving you one hour a day of Conversation Classes. I must stress that Iím not able to offer a language course.

If you want to improve your Spanish quickly, we may do the same as we did with our previous volunteers, this means talking in Spanish during the meals, ther... more inside

Helpers wanted for April or May onwards: gardening, property maintenance, irrigating and planting.
Deep in the Natural Park, high in the mountains, come and try living off-grid to see if you like it.
I have a chunk of very remote mountain in a totally tranquil and isolated setting, surrounded by forests. It's in the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, very high at 1700m. There is a 2800m peak (San Juan) about 3 hours walk away for mountain lovers to climb on their days off. The air is incredibly clean and fresh. There are dozens of walking tracks through the mountains, great for mountain bikes as well as trekking, with abundant wildlife, rare plants and amazing mountain and sea views.
I ask people to work about 5 hours per day, 5 days a week, plus lend a hand on the communal tasks and generally add a positive attitude... no experience required and plenty of home brewed strawberry/cherry wine to drink.
It's so peaceful and relaxed here I need helpers to keep me motivated! It's too easy ... more inside
