Hi there,
We're Double D-Lux Trail Riding & Petting Zoo. As our name suggested, we provides trail rides, pony rides, and petting zoo to the public. We also host a non-profit program, which provides equine assisted life skill learning courses/workshops for at-risk youth and children/youth with mental health needs (e.g. autism, FASD, ADHD, etc.)

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working at a ranch, working or learning to work with horses and who would also enjoy taking care of a variety of other small farm animals. Next to working with our horses and other animals we have different projects that we could certainly use some help with, like:

- making and decorating trails
- building cabins/camp area
- cleaning up the terrain
- fixing things, like house repairments, building and repairing fences and such
-
- and many more to think of ;)

We have just moved to a beautiful new location at Highway 16 West, 5 minutes past Moricetown. Our new spot is surrounded by s... more inside

We are looking for individuals or couples to help with gardening, firewood, cutting and general farm duties. We also work with fisheries on a salmon spawning stream that flows through the property. We are looking for people to start in May with primary focus on the garden and farming with lots of other side jobs to keep it interesting. Our property is about 75 km North East of Williams Lake (we can pick up helpers at the bus station in Williams Lake). The property is currently being developed for small scale organic market gardening (uncertified but we follow organic methods & principles). We plan to sell veggies, and fruit from our orchard. We are preparing to move out to the property full time, but currently just have two small cabins out there which are used primarily during the summer. We have a large veggie garden, fruit trees and berries, and horses. The property is on a lake, in a beautiful valley which supports an abundance of wildlife. Our lake is in the middle of a chain of 8 lakes, all of which are accessible by canoe. In your time off you can explore the valley, by hiking, biking, canoeing or kayaking.
