+++Helpers needed NOW!!!+++

Come and work, to stay and eat at Glenburn for FREE!

For a limited time in October/November an hourly rate is paid for docking lambs.

Situated on the Wairarpa Coast, literally, ON the coast, you will be just a short stroll away from the beach and a short quad drive from the local Seal Colony. There are opportunities to dive, snorkel, hunt and fish. Glenburn Station offers real traditional New Zealand farmstay which operates a cattle and sheep farm surrounded by rolling hills and mountains. Escape the modern world and enter peace and serenity of NZ.

It will be your job to assist in the daily cleaning and maintaining our lovely homestay accommodations. Other jobs may include painting, gardening, helping in the woolshed etc. Work is typically from 8-1pm with around one hour morning tea break. There are 6.000 sheep, 550 cattle, also 2 horses, a lot of dogs and sometimes puppies, 2 pigs and 6 chickens who you will feed daily, they in turn will reward you with fresh eggs. Other food provided will be an endless supply of fresh hunted venison, meat from the farm (mutton, lamb & beef) and some supermarket supplies so you can make yourself breakfast, lunch and dinner as you please.

Please reply below, stating the number of people, transport you may have (although not necessary) and how long you may wish to stay and we will be in touch.

A minimum of 2 weeks stay is preferred.
Internet and cell phone coverage is limited

We look forward to hearing from you.
