*** We are currently look for help during March and April. Current projects are painting and decorating, cutting hedges, field fencing, gardening and rotorvating.

Our farm is in the hamlet of Les Brissonnires on the edge of the pretty village of Le Breuil sous Argenton. This is set in the Pay Thouarsais in North Deux Sevres, a countryside that boasts rolling hills lined with endless vineyards, fields of sun flowers and corn, pastures of cattle and sheep and the picturesque valleys of the Argenton and Ouere rivers. It is on the edge of the Loire Valley, famous for its wines and a short drive from Atlantic coast fishing villages and holiday towns.

We raise alpacas to sell on to other owners and to process the fleece for selling the yarn or clothing. We also provide various services to other breeders.

On the farm we have large cottage gardens for growing vegetables and fruit and numerous pastures for our Alpacas. We are adopting an agricultural permaculture to maintain our pastures.

We are looking for help in the following areas:
Maintaining the pastures - clearing weeds, filling holes, repairing fences
Looking after the market gardens - weeding, harvesting crops, preparing for planting
Decorating Gite - Painting
Maintaining gardens and driveways - cutting grass, hedges
Tidying barns - clearing and repairing
Wood fuel - cutting logs, felling trees
Alpacas - mending fences, feeding, herding

Please note that many of our activities are quite physically demanding. We are looking for 25 hours a week and we provide accommodation within our home with three meals a day, wifi access and use of pushbikes on your days off.
