We are establishing a small organic orchard. Mostly apple. We expect to plant 8 acres over the next 2 years. We have 80 trees planted thus far with 25 in production for market and cider.

We have over 20 years of organic farming experience and have had over 10 acres of organic vegetables, a natural foods bakery, and farm market. We use machinery in our operation.

We also are building trails, planting trees, landscaping for a sanctuary and meditation community (non-demominational).

We are considering opening a farm amimal rescue.

We will provide a beautiful apartment which can sleep 2.It has a kitchen and bathroom. Additional space is avialable in our 180 year old farm home. We are located on the upper end of the Bay Of Fundy in Great Village, N.S. The apartment has a deck where the water will be viewed.

We are renovating our barn for animal housing. We presently do not have any farm animals. In the past we have raised cattle (beef and dairy), sheep, horses, pigs, chickens, etc. We are committed to caring for our animals with great care and compassion. We do not support factory farms.

We would prefer folks to stay a minimum of 4 weeks. This is not absolutly necessary. Some of the jobs at hand are: mowing (on tractors), renovating the barn, preparing the fields for apple planting in the spring, harvesting and making cider this fall.

For rest and recreation you can enjoy salt water bass fishing, canoeing, hiking in the Cobeqid Hills, camping, watching eagles from our back yard, folk festivals, and many other fun opportunities.

We also have a fabric artists studio on site as well as a cabinet/furniture makers workshop. We can teach skills in these area's as well.

Additional information will be provided.
Thanks you, David, Shelley, Lucas
