Live and work in the heart of Tasmania's largest wilderness rainforest, the Tarkine.

Our retreat is located in the middle of the Tarkine, the largest patch of cool temperate rainforest in the southern hemisphere (approximately 90 minutes drive from Burnie). We regularly run maintenance trips at the retreat which involve minor building projects, track maintenance, firewood collection and general cleaning. We usually undertake around 6-8 hours of work per day. We are wanting keen helpers to assist us in these work sessions. The retreat is located a short walk from the vehicle making it accessible for everyone without a huge walk. Accommodation is in large safari style tents. We provide transport from Hobart, food and accommodation. The dates of the trips vary.

You will need to provide your own clothing including raincoat top and bottom, warm jumper, beany, thermals, sleeping bag, backpack or bag to carry your clothes and sleep gear up to camp.

Contact Rob to get involved.
