Welcome, bienvenue, wilkommen to Rossland!
Can you visit soon? In August?
BC mountains... hot days, cool nights, great biking/hiking and no mosquitos :-)
I have a B&B and Guest House with large gardens and orchard, 4 minutes walk from Rossland town centre.
I will help you get here.

WHERE?
In south-central BC, 660 km (400 miles) from Vancouver and Calgary, near the US border, 1 hour from Nelson.
Rossland is very cool... cafes, bars, a brewery, art gallery, music events, hiking trails, mountain bike and ski culture. Red Mountain ski resort is here.
Check it out: http://tourismrossland.com/

HAVE FUN:
Great trails start right here, to hike or bike.
Maybe kayak, or float the Slocan River.
Watch wildlife: bears, raccoons, hummingbirds
Enjoy a beer after work.

YOU GET:
WiFi
Your own room in the house, or a small cabin
3 bikes, with helmets etc
Good food... which you help cook

HELP 20-25 hours a week.
Garden work and some house painting.
Perhaps improve my computer and camera skills.
Interesting new projects.

LEARN/SHARE:
Language skills, tree pruning, organic gardening, recipes, solar power, environmental ideas etc.
Do you want to improve your English? Or improve my French or German?

To visit, you must speak OK English.

TRAVEL:
Bus: Greyhound to Trail via Castlegar.
