We just have the one spare bedroom with one queen bed. It is a lifestyle property but we can use a hand with the maintenance, eg gutters to clean etc.. We are close to Cradle Mountain and the visitors pass is $30.00 for 8 weeks. I also have an Aquaponics garden which is interesting, we also grow a lot of our own vegetables and are very animal friendly. There is native wildlife around at night and occasionally a Tasmanian Devil appears. We also have lots of bird life to see. We would like you to feel like part of the family and not stay in your room all the time. A good understanding of English is necessary as I do not have the time to explain word by word what I need doing, and cannot work along side all the time. If time permits we may take you to see some sights if you do not have a car. We are very easy going hospitable people with a good sense of humor. There will be home cooked meals, (pretty basic most of the time) for helpers but do not want people that are not prepared to help out. We do not want to treat you as slaves with just a few hours work in exchange for your bed and food, you can then go and do what you like. Transport is not good in Tasmania so it really is better if you have your own. Once you are here at our place there is nothing to do and no place to go unless you have a car or can get a lift as we are in the country. There is no bus or train in this part of Tasmania. There is some seasonal work happening here which may be of interest to some. We have an Internet shop that has to be attended to and I am making a range of skin care products from all natural products, so I can sell them for some money to help out with costs for us.
