Come and enjoy the wonderful spring weather on the East Coast of Tasmania.

The property is a commercial cattle, sheep and cropping farm run by two generations of family. The 1840s homestead is occupied by my sister Elizabeth who has two boys (9 and 6 years old).

The farm is located approximately 1 hour from Hobart on the East Coast of Tasmania, only 15 minutes from the seaside town of Orford. There is a daily bus service that runs up the East Coast from Hobart in the mornings and evenings and we are happy to collect suitable helpers from Hobart. Elizabeth would prefer female helpers.

The work would involve tasks around the homestead helping Elizabeth- gardening, mowing, cleaning, babysitting or farm duties depending on the preference and skills of the helpers.

You will be staying in the homestead itself occupying one of the spare bedrooms and living with the family.

The farm stay is suitable for both short and long term stays.

A neighbouring property also currently offers farm stays and inspired our family to do the same.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the farm and the family.
