We are a non-smoking family, and as such will only except non smokers. We are an organinc berry farm that is starting a winery in 2012. This will be a busy year!! We have 3 hectares of Haskap berrys planted that will be harvested in June for making fruit wine. However, we also need to build the winery, which we will hopefully have done before the berrys are ready! We will be constructing a hoop house this year, and planting .5 hectares of vegetables for community shared agriculture. There is also the care of all the animals, we have 1 milking cow, a Canadienne, that is due to give birth in April, and we may be getting another one that is due in July. We also have several egg laying chickens, and will have approximately 100 meat chickens as of April of this year. We are not vegetarians, but can provide food for you if you are. Due to our small house, we feel it would be easier for our helpers to stay in a camper. It will be fully furnished, and have water and power hooked up to it. Our farm is located halfway between North Bay and Sudbury, in a quaint rural community. It is on the Nepewassi River which is famed for it's fishing!
