On the campsite, we offer folks a chance to wind down, experience nature, and renew their energy at affordable rates. Essentially, we emphasize simplicity and strive to offer a natural and 'real' camping experience guided by our Responsible Tourism policy.
We have a 10 hectare farm, is south-facing and overlooks the Shannon Estuary with our emerging 4 hectare native woodland in the foreground. In addition to standard pitches, we also offer pre-erected furnished bell tents for those light travellers. Campers can enjoy the main campsite, or for the more adventurous, we offer camping in the woods. Our 12m geodesic dome provides a semi-dry indoor space where we run an array of courses and provides a common indoor area for our campers. We also have a small yoga centre, which also has a standard bathroom. Recycling and composting is encouraged and facilities are provided.

We have a lot of ground to maintain, although we try to keep things as natural as possible. We also have plenty of work to do in the woods. We have a small vegetable garden and an embryonic forest garden that requires input. During the camping season (May to September) we also need help with the bell tents and facilities, cleaning, making beds, etc. So there is lots of variety, some interesting work, some not so interesting... :-)
We have two kids (our son is 14 and our daughter is 9). We have three dogs, three cats, as well as a few hens and a cockerel. We've also acquired a couple of donkeys. We are a vegetarian household, but we don't object to folks catching fish locally and consuming same :-)
Also need help in September to winterise the campsite, and the veggie beds and greenhouse. Harvesting remainder of apple crop and blackberries.
