This is an off-grid, clothing optional, eco-campsite, that we (Steve and Denise) have created from nothing. Originally from the UK we emigrated to Montenegro in 2006 with the dream of establishing a clothing optional resort & Eco project. In 2009 we welcomed our first guests to Camp Full Monte.

"Off-grid, eco-campsite", means no mains power, water or sewerage. We use solar energy for electricity and hot water, we pump water from our stream, use state of the art odorless `dry` toilets and re-use all our waste water to irrigate our organic gardens and grounds. Reduce, re-use, re-cycle is our Mantra and there are countless examples around the site but we are always looking for pragmatic ways to reduce our impact on our surroundings.

"Clothing optional" means that guests and volunteers are free to wear as much or as little as they want around the site. There is absolutely no pressure either way. Depending on the weather and time of day/year it is likely there will always be those who choose not to wear clothes. The freedom of choice means that we are a popular destination for those wanting to ease into their first experience of a naturist/nudist environment.

We are open from May to September. We welcome guests from all over the world to our campsite. And we welcome volunteers willing to share our pragmatic eco-life and help us deliver a unique guest experience. We provide you with a comfy bed in a tent, 3 meals a day and non-alcoholic drinks (tea, coffee and juice). We will ensure you have 2 days off per week and reasonable breaks and rest periods during the working day. We usually host helpers for 7-10 days. But we also host couples (with hospitality experience and a love of gardening) for extended periods to act as our `deputies` to give us a break from time to time.

The kinds of work you could be helping us with include: re-building terraces(collecting and moving rocks from the surrounding land and using them for dry-stone wall building); maintaining our grounds and gardens (cutting grass, strimming, weeding, watering, planting etc); maintaining our infrastructure (grey-water system, compost toilets, compost tea tank, compost heap and worm compost); the day to day running of our campsite (preparing for and clearing up after mealtimes, cleaning etc).

We are particularly interested in hosting volunteers with practical skills such as carpentry, welding, dry stone walling etc. However we also have ongoing art projects so if you can paint, do mosaics, sew or do anything crafty let us know.

Prior experience of off-grid eco living is not essential, we are happy to share our knowledge and give training.

Working on the campsite can be physically demanding, so you must be fit and able to cope with temperatures that will rarely be less than 25 degrees and can rise to 40 in the height of summer. The location feels remote although we are only a 15 mins drive away from the nearest shops and beaches etc. There is bus twice a day into the main town.

There's plenty of info on our website about what it's like to volunteer here.
