We are on a small farm of 10 acres on the outskirts of Motueka and grow a variety of crops such as, raspberries, blueberries, sweetcorn and feijoas. We are not registered Organic, but we use little or no spray where ever possible. Depending on what time of year. The work is varied, which would include picking or pruning and some garden maintenance. At the moment we are still in our feijoa season and are getting ready for pruning raspberries. We provide a friendly family environment and we have a special needs son who comes home for weekends. Accommodation is in the main house or a spacious sleepout, where ever you are you have wi-fi access. Also three meals a day, in return for 4 1/2 hrs per day. You would be helping in the mornings and finishing at lunch time, so you would have the afternoons to yourself. After 7 days helping here you get one day off, per week, Or what hours suit you for extra days off. We are flexible. So you can enjoy our beautiful area. We do have a very friendly pet dog. There is a 20 min walk into Motueka township or there are bikes to borrow. A walk to the beach or river and 10km to the start of the Abel Tasman National Park. Look forward to meeting you.
