This is a small co-housing unit locating in Saxony Anhault, Germany. Right now we are living in a rustic stone cabin, but the future goal is to collectively purchase and renovate a thriving Eco village that is relatively close to a large body of water (for sea faring adventures). For more information on the sustainable community project please see our website link above.

Schneidlingen, Saxony Anhault, Germany is a small community with 1,300 people. There are a few local farmers in the area as well as many hiking and biking trails that start just a few kilometers up the road. The closest major city is about an hour away by train, and about 2 1/2 hours outside of Berlin. You will also have a bike to use for local excursions around town and to neighboring communities. This is a beautiful little town and you will love the views.

*one person who has experience in, or willing to learn, home restoration

*one person who is familiar with, or willing to learn, gardening and harvesting

In the future we will need someone who is familiar with living at sea and has an interest in building a moderately large sea vessel for international travel by water. We also plan to purchase a plot of open land and build a self sustaining Eco-village. Or goal for the future community is to have a fruit and vegetable garden, restaurant, an inn for paying guests, camping facilities for paying guests, and a large ship accommodating at least 10 people for excursions by sea, and more. If you are also interested in helping to create this sustainable village, please inquire for more details.

*Dig out and prepare a plot of land for a vegetable garden
*Create a fruit and vegetable garden
*Help to renovate an attic to make living quarters
*Assist house members with daily chores (all members contribute)

Helpers are expected to work 4 hours per day in exchange for room and board. After that feel free to explore the beautiful surroundings. Meals are mainly shared with household members but you can choose to supplement with your own food if you wish.

Minimum stay is two weeks with a one week trial period. Longer stays are welcome if you would like to help create the future Eco-community.
