We operate Huon Bush Retreats, an eco-tourism village with cabins, tipees and campground. The surrounding habitat reserve consists of 1000ha of varied forest types and habitat, heaps of birds, wildlife and bushwalks. Self contained cabins with compost toilets, neutral water systems, solar energy etc. Most of the help is at our tourist resort, (search "Huon Bush Retreats" for details) but might also be at other locations. We are 50mins south of Hobart.

Please note we require helpers to also register with the Wwoof program to cover insurance. Every helper MUST be a fully registered Wwoofer. We can explain how to join Wwoof.

We provide Helpers with a caravan for sleeping and you share our living and kitchen. Note that the caravan has no heating so can be cold in winter, but we do supply plenty of warm bedding. Helpers become part of our household and we generally spend the evenings together as well as the work periods.
Helpers who love nature have a great time here. If the most important things in you life include wifi and hairdryers, you are in the wrong place. This is a place to experience the nature of Tasmania, wildlife, forest, walking tracks, a mountaintop and waterfall.
Are you looking for Cherry, Apple or Strawberry picking work in the Huon Valley Jobs are available December to April. Search "huon valley works strawberry"
