I live in a tiny village in the Aude, at the foot of the Pyrenees, where I spend a lot of time in my vegetable and flower gardens. There is always plenty of work to do. My latest project is the construction of "un jardin sans arrosage" or a waterless garden.

I need some help in the gardens and with small fix-it projects around the house.

I'm going to be working on the waterless, organic garden in the fall, and I will definitely need someone from the end of September and into October.

You'll eat very well during your stay and I have a beautiful, private room where you'll be very comfortable. The village is rustic, but beautiful.

I'd expect about five hours of work a day during the week. The weekends are yours. In exchange, you'll stay for free.

There's a small town about 12 kilometers from here, and if you want, I can lend you a bike. The region is full of amazing history, castles, wonderful landscape and colorful people.

If you're interested, email is probably the best way to communicate.
