Smallholding located on the beautiful and remote island of Eday.
We have lots of land and our interests are organic/permaculture cultivation, alternative energy, independent and free lifestyle.

The holding is run by three adults and numerous cats. We live a non animal lifestyle, animal free diet with fish, no livestock. Non political and non religious.

We offer accommodation 'Pirate Gow's' self catering chalets with breakfast foods provided. Lunch and evening meal provided at Millcroft, the host's residence. You may be expected to help in the kitchen.

We hope our visitors will have a flexible attitude and be ready to have a go at whatever work is offered. Anything from planting, weeding, harvesting, landscaping, building, collecting peat, cooking, cleaning and processing veggies, making tea, feeding cats, ducks (not for eggs or meat), wildlife and people.

By the way, the goooooooooogle map is not correct, we are overlooking the narrow little bay to the SE of the marker. (See accurate photo below)
