We are working on re-establishing a neglected property. Our plans are to reclaim the fence lines and upgrade the fencing as well as new fences. This involves chainsaw work, barbed wire running and attaching. Some tractor work will be needed at this stage and further on we will have areas to plough and seed. We wish to create a mixed orchard from scratch, water lines establish etc. We have some cows now who are very friendly, most have names. We want to set-up for a few free range pigs, English Black pigs, they are quiet with great natures. Mostly we want to love what we do and feel good putting life back to this farm.
We are 3 vege and meat people, but are happy and willing to learn and cater for others. Shopping has to be planned so please talk about your needs before turning up to the front gate. Smoking is not prefered, again we are willing to consider if the visitor follows a few simple guidlines. Social drinking is OK in the evening hours self catered only.
Since purchasing our farm we have rebuilt the old cottage, moved in 2 caravans for guests. We have plans for a permanent guest house, the site we have chosen has great views of the lovely sunsets we get here. We have many virgin acres to explore. We are only 40 km to the famous town of 1770 and Agnes Waters, I suggest looking up the tourist attractions around as there are many. If you wish to be part of our project in a small way we would love to here from you.
We have some ability to help with visa's, please talk to us. We prefer an exchange of labour for food and accomadation, if larger tasks are agreed upon again we can negotiate the terms of your stay.
If I have missed information you think should be included please do not hesitate to let us know. All the best,Debbie and Tony
