We have a commercial alpaca farm with 20-30 alpacas. We also have 4 horses (2 shires and an Irish Cob and her foal), a Dexter bull, cow and calf, 2 pet pigs, 4 dogs, 2 cats and poultry. We own a small amount of forest for firewood, and always welcome any help chopping down trees and cutting logs for fence posts or winter logs.

Our main commerce is the alpacas, but we also have started breeding shire horses and dexter miniature cattle. .

Riding is available but not at beginner level: they're not dobbins! We also have a 3 seater carriage which we use with our Irish cob, alhtough she is out of action being a mum at the moment.

There is a lot of help required in halter training the alpacas; exercising the horses: feeding and general husbandry of the animals; and general manual labour with the continuing renovation of our property and land.

We have English channels, free phone calls to the UK, broadband internet access and the possibility of the use of a car. A qualified maths teacher is in residence if you've any children you wish to torture!

In return for your work you will be well fed and watered, but it's not for the faint-hearted!
