We have recently taken over one of the oldest historical sites in the country. We have a big job ahead of us cleaning and generally getting our 150 year old wooden buildings up to where they deserve to be. The sight looked after the Armed Costablary who were chasing Te Kooti after the Waikato Wars. Legend has it that one night he came here dressed as a cowboy to fit in and let the horse coral loose which now are the Kaimanawa horses. We have 12 chalets and 10 studio units a natural therapeutic mineral Spa which was why the site was originally built lots of walks natural hot and cold pools where the hot Thermal water meets the Waikato River on the eastern side of the Huka Falls accomodation and meals are offered to people with green fingers with builders and roofers top 0f the list we have a wide variety of things to do though so don't be shy we are both well traveled and know the terrain. We have a sense of humour and work and play hard fishing, hunting, snow Boarding, boating canoeing are some of the things you will get a chance at doing. We would expect 4 hours work 5 of the days of the week weather dependent if you don't fit in you wont last.
