I'm restoring beautiful old buildings, in an unspoilt Algarvian port. Doing my bit to save the amazing architecture from being knocked down and replaced with ugly modern apartment blocks. I also have an eye for interesting old furniture and objects that may be considered as junk....but to me they are beautiful pieces of art.
You can find my project on facebook, see link above..

If you have a fascination with old buildings/furniture/art then this project is for you. Join me and learn what it takes bring these places and objects back to life.

I have one particular amazing huge building that I want to turn into a music venue in the future.

Anyone with building skills is very welcome, but there are also plenty of small easy jobs like painting walls and giving furniture a new lease of life. Also anyone with computer skills is very welcome as I would like to build a website.
The work will mainly take place in the morning 9am until 2pm 5 days a week. I will provide a lunch. Breakfast stuff will be provided so you can help yourself. You will then have the rest of day off to do as you please. Explore the winding labyrinth of narrow streets.Take a trip to the islands, or just hang out with a glass of wine on the terrace and admire the view!

You will be given a choice of places to stay. All of which are comfortable and funky, some exotic! Most have terraces overlooking the old town and the sea.

Languages spoken English, French, Spanish, basic Portuguese

Internet access: free wifi in the cafes and library.
