I am a sixty-eight year old woman who lives alone with 2 dogs. Since 6 years Iím living in a house on a land of 1/2 hectare. I have a small vegetable garden, papayas, chirimoyas, maracuyas and acerolas. The house is finished, but some little things like painting, repairing or improving things always need to be done. So any handiness in that is always welcome, too.

The things I grow, I go and sell from house to house by bicycle in the village . Besides some vegetables and fruits, in the afternoon I also sell yoghurt, ice-cream,marmelades and cakes that I make myself.

Every Thursday afternoon, there is a ĎRincon de lecturaí (Mini library) Iíve been able to gather a small library and educational board games. During the Rincon Iíll read stories to the children (age 6-12), teach them some basic English and play games with them. The children can borrow books to take home. Volunteers who are motivated to help here are very welcome.

Iím looking for volunteers that would help around with all the things i do.Any help in the kitchen with cooking, making yoghurt, bread, marmelades, ..would also be welcome.
The minimum stay here is three weeks since it takes time and energy to become part of the community I can only take one volunteer. Meals are vegetarian. No smokers please.

I am actually a teacher, so if you need help with learning Spanish, we can work something out.

As it gets really hot here during the summer months (from December to March), make sure to bring light clothes with long sleeves and sunscreen.
