We live in a 100 years old brick house that is surrounded by meadows and pasturelands. Wild animals like roes, foxes, birds of prey, cranes, partridges and many other small and big creatures are our closest neighbours. Our vicinity is a land of lakes, forests and multiculturalism. Our holding has had a certificate of ecological agriculture since 2010. We have a small orchard with traditional types of cherry, sweet cherry, apple, pear and plum trees. There is a vegetable and herbal garden right next to the house, which is grown with traditional methods. The soil is mulched and fertilized with compost and extracts from single-handedly collected plants in order to provide earthworms with welfare as they create humus. We use previously gathered rainwater to water our plants.

In order to improve biodiversity we plant the stands of trees zones focusing mainly on trees and shrubs which provide birds with food and people with tasty fruits for self-made tincture, wine and lemonade.

Our aim is as high nutritional self-sufficiency as possible. We grow ecological vegetables and herbs. We try to buy local, seasonal products. We bake granary bread using a starter made from ecological flour that is floured in the friendly mill.

We both live here together with two dogs, cats hens and ducks. We are active in the local association which is located in our house. The activities concentrate on securing the biodiversity in the village, stirring women into action and propagating the multiculturalism.

We have for you a separate room, healthy food and a lot of space wait for volunteers. You can communicate with us in English, German and Russian language. We invite you to come to us from the half of April to the end of October!
