11 June 2018 UPDATE: Looking for help on the Bar as we are at multiple shows next weekend - if you fancy people watching and having some fun then please contact us - Lucie has been here a YEAR now - amazing - please visit her blog -

if you are a blogger, vlogger, web designer, photographer or film maker - come give a hand - life is changing here - sending cameras round the world is fun! MAybe you will take one away.

Looking to promote sustainable travel and source funding to send people home via boats and trains - bloggers needed for new concept - Snail's Pace!!

Train to become a CiderMaker, learn about Permaculture, acquire skills to live outside of society, or at least on the edge - why are you playing safe and limiting yourself?

Funky cottage in idyllic setting free from artificial stimuli – no internet, email, television, radio, news. Just me and my partner morag (aka sue)

Are you keen to try a different way of living, looking for answers but can’t find them, stuck in a rut, dull or depressed, fed up, scared, bored or just don’t know what to do with your life then maybe you have found the right place away from our stimulation society to find out what life is about and what happiness really is.

Sorry but no couples or pairs – personal growth starts with 1 person not 2!

The next phase has started – the eco refurbishment of an unusual cottage within the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. After 16 years at Kendricks Cottage it is time to move on - time to ecovate the new place – so you will be learning how to apply permaculture principles to your whole life and to a new home.

Our aim is to live very simply feeding and heating ourselves off the land – we have planted up a new orchard and started on a veg garden already but there are many more jobs that we fit into our busy schedule.

Most of our time is spent managing the orchards on the estate, selling cider & perry at farmers markets and shows, and looking after the sheep.

There are plenty of jobs to do as we need to build a masonry stove, wind generator, new vegetable garden and convert the cottage for a very different lifestyle.

Looking for open minded people who want to stretch themselves, question their life and investigate who we really are and how we relate to others – to step outside of the matrix and find yourself, to explore changing yourself.

If you are already content with your life then you do not need to come but if you question whether there is or should be more then please take 2 weeks off to explore what possibilities may lay in front of you.

Want to learn about trees, woodland and living lightly on the land in a sustainable and ecological way then come help this woodsman caring for traditional cider & perry orchards on the estate which includes pruning, harvesting, making cider & perry and grazing organic sheep.

We live a very basic life and ask people to respect our way of living which focuses on sustainable living and limits consumption. You need to be reasonably fit and able and enjoy working outside. Bring warm clothes and stout waterproof boots.

This place would not suit you if you live on your phone/computer and need constant stimulation or music or if you smoke. So if you are based in ego, need to wash daily, can’t get up early (7am), or like processed food then this place would be like prison but without the comforts!

Good home cooking (mostly organic) - largely vegetarian but have access to beef & game – harvesting, foraging, hunting & gathering. 2 dogs and 2 cats so no pets or children.

You will need to learn how to pee sitting down (i guess most of the girls are ahead of us on this one!), to knit and cook cakes, fly a big kite, climb trees, weave, carve a spoon but most importantly find yourself and find what makes you happy.

We are all running away from issues, looking for answers and believe the solution lies at a distance rather than within us. There is no personal growth without change, but we don't cope well with change – so it is nice when someone takes an interest in us, in how we live, and offers an insight into how we can live a more fulfilled life. - have been helping people for many years

Some call me a healer - but that's not true - just a facilitator. Just trying to fill in the blanks to give people the information to help them change themselves. It all started with animals - love to whisper them, but also love reading people.

Have this whole theory about society which assists in this process but you may find it heavy going here but what have you got to lose?

check out a wwoofers blog of us or her more recent blog of how we came to be a life-changing and pivotal moment for her, via our website links above.

September 2015 attended a 10 day Vipassana silent retreat locally and have benefited so much that would encourage everyone to take a look and consider doing it themselves - my partner and two wwoofers have already attended and we have another 3 booked in to attend in 2016 - please come here first if you like
there are 283 centres all over the world of which 162 are fully managed centres
if you are interested then to get the most out of it you need to prepare both your mind and your body. Very happy to help those interested in attending the local retreat to prepare
Vipassana is not taught here - just setting the scene so that you get more from your experience and would suggest that you need to come here for at least 2 weeks before you attend and we can drop you off and collect you

if you want to come please send an email with "go wild in the country" as the FIRST line to show you have read this description fully -

please also take time to think what you want to achieve here - whether you seek personal growth.
we will probably reject you if your profile is blank, or there is no photo shown, or you send a generic email - would you go to a host with a blank profile, or no pictures

good luck
