I'm looking for people with building skills. Carpenters or builders, I'm about to build a timber framed home so people with experience are needed. You won't have work too hard though and I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

I live in a small village in a quiet valley inland from Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast. Its a lovely place with less than 100 people in the village. There is a historic hotel nearby and lots of lovely walks. Also a big community of musicians and artists.

I live in a house a few minutes walk from the site of my new house. I have a spare room with a double bed and people tell me I'm a good cook.

I am an artisan - a lampworker (I make glass beads) and sell jewellery made with them at the famous Eumundi market.

For more information on my glasswork see the link to my Facebook page.

Things to do without a car: walks (the Noosa Trail Network is nearby), stargazing and seeing satellites, birdwatching, cook, housekeeping (please), read, learn glass bead making, make jewellery.

Things to do with a car: visit Cooloola national parks - Upper Noosa River and Rainbow Beach, go to Gympie, beaches at Noosa.
