We are a NZ couple who bought an old stone farm house on 25 acres in the SW of France.
With the onset of spring we are looking for help outside, there is so much to improve and then to maintain.
There is gardening and landscaping work. We have cleared the last of the blackberry and scrub and started to create spaces around the house ready to create a beautiful garden. Our current project over winter is fencing to keep the deer out. Then we would like pergolas, paths and walkways. We have all the tools needed including a tractor and mini digger.
In return we can offer you the experience of living in a very beautiful region of France. The house is surrounded by fields of either wheat or sunflowers, we are 2 kms from our local village which has all amenities, 20 kms from the nearest large town and an hours drive west of Toulouse in the Gers region. We are also only an hour and a half away from the beautiful Pyrenees Mountains.
We are now ready to move into the first part of our renovation of the main house, and can offer the adjacent converted barn with all modern conveniences for living space.
Sorry for the upside down photo, still trying to fix it!
