We live in a small rural village with only one shop/bar.There are other villages within a few km which have a larger variety of shops, bars etc. We are in a lovely area if you enjoy walking. The area is agricultural and very pretty. We are 35 km from Dobrich, which has all amenities.
This is an ideal location if you wish to experience rural Bulgaria.

We have two houses with large gardens in each property. Vines, fruit trees and vegetable garden. We have chickens, ducks, one dog, eight cats, one rabbit and the boss. JoJo ( An African Grey Parrot).

We would expect help predominantly with the gardening. Also some plastering and outbuilding and house maintenance, looking after the animals and general DIY.

In return we will provide accommodation and three meals a day. We eat simple rustic food. Plentiful and flavorsome. We also would like to get to know our helpers and share experiences.

I am 62 years old and my husband is 66. We are both active and love to work in the garden. We are well traveled and well read. We have internet access, which means you can be in contact with loved ones at any time.

Just a wee update. We lost our dog Thor in January but we now have a rescue dog, Rubin, who is blind.
We no longer have the goats. They have gone to a new home where they have more room to browse. Sad for us but better for the goats.
