NOTE: We could use a hand with general gardening.... also cutting wood with chainsaw and stacking, and possibly building a greenhouse if one has building skills. No shortage of tasks to be done at the moment.
We are flexible but 4 or 5 hours a day seems to work well. We provide lunch and dinner and a private apartment with wi-fi. For breakfast you are on your own. There is a great pasticceria, grocery shop, bars and pizzerias down below in the village.
The property consists of a group of 16th and 17th century stone buildings including Villa Raghezzi where Kali and I live, the farmer house where guests stay, the stalla for our sheep and hay, cantina for the wine and the grappa shed. Access is from the train station below, an 8 minute walk up hill which guarantees total peace and privacy and a magnificent view of the alps. We have a collection of 200 antique roses, make our own grape juice, and tend a large vegetable garden. The sound of water is everywhere originating from a pure spring on the upper boundary of the property.

We are in the northern Piemonte Region, about 4km from Domodossola, 15 minutes from the border of Switzerland, an hour from Malpensa airport on the handy Alibus shuttle bus service and all trains stop in Domodossola.

The area is rich in medieval stone architecture and is one of Italy's best kept secrets. We will have a lot in common with those who share an interest in historic preservation and stone work. Have a look at the non-profit organization we founded 12 years ago via our second website link above.
