We are a small camping ground (only 50 or so sites). The camp is nestled below beautiful limestone cliffs clad in native bush and overlooks the sea which is just across the road from us. The bay boasts plentiful fish (crayfish, paua, cod, butterfish, moki and assorted other varieties). Seals live permanently in the bay, and we have dolphins pass by most days over the summer months. Whales also visit occasionally. Our campers generally spend their time fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving, walking, or just lazing in the sun. We need help often with all sorts of general tasks - ranging from gardening and mowing to general maintenance, cooking crayfish, painting or cleaning - it just depends on the day and what needs to be done. Helpers can be assured of a warm welcome, good food and access to email. Accommodation would be provided by way of a private caravan. Helpers would be welcome to do their own cooking if that is their preference. There are just the two of us living here permanently, along with our Papillons named Max and Min who are both exhuberant if a little willful. Please give us a quick call before your intended arrival so we can give directions and suggestions as to the easiest way to get here - whether it be by bus, train car or hitching.
