An ex-registered organic market garden now run for home consumption, using a mix of agroforestry and old kitchen garden methods.

We grow organic vegetables and vegetables providing for an entirely plant based whole food diet. Bulk grains are bought in from Munster Wholefoods.

We make tempeh, soyamilk, tofu, bread. We chop wood for our fuel, are preparing beds building polytunnels, planting, weeding and harvesting etc.

The house is fueled by locally grown firewood. Coillte is the local forestry admin, and we use our own wooded areas and hedging for wood also.

We have no farm animals or their products and we do not accommodate dogs, cats or other extensions of the animal agriculture industry. We have a plant based diet for ecological and public health reasons only and we are not interested in animal welfare campaigns, new-age etc.

No answer is a permanent solution to a problem, the infinite complexity of the universe will find the exceptions. All flavors of identity politics (race, nationality, gender, football teams and the like) are just branding for the same artificial insanity, so there is no ...ism here.

Accommodation is in a converted stone barn with a wood stove.

Conditions here are basic but that's good if you are into ecology, productive hard work and simple living.

We have a bath only, no shower and hot water is on demand (the fire may not be on in the summer and it takes time to get hot.)

Mobile phone coverage can be patchy as it is a rural location but we have a LAN.

There are no pubs and no social stuff going on in the area so if you have a conformity dependency problem it is better to find somewhere more populated or linked into the system.

We have a compost-toilet, it is important that you know what this is. People who may have hepatitis and/or any similar diseases should not use compost toilets. The public sewage system is one of the main energy users in the industrial system; ecological replacements are vital for the future of life.

We make clothes and use recycled and/or natural materials.

Musicians are also welcome but expect entomialo muses here and not traditional, topos or genetic based memes.

This is not "the real ireland" so tourists etc. would be better off somewhere more homogeneous.

GLOBAL WARMING;- the environmental damage caused by air travel is much worse than travel by sea or by land. We do not accommodate people who travel by air unless there is a genuine and compelling reason. There are shipping freight sites that offer sea travel around the world.
