This is an organic farm that operates under the principles of a self sustained old farm but using modern technologies like solar panels for energy production.

My project and my personal life reached the end of a cycle.
In my project most of the structures I planned (solar system, irrigation system, buildings, … ) are accomplished. Now I am starting the cycle of production and selling.
But my vision goes beyond that – I want to create “A NATURAL SELF SUSTAINED HEALING PLACE”. To accomplish it I would like to become almost independent from the outside world (but not totally because that is impossible) and develop the healing component.
In practical terms now the major project is the restart of the garden, that had to be paused last months due to a severe drought (we don´t have rain in Alentejo since the last days of May).
Besides that I would like to prepare the place to organize events linked with healing and spirituality.
But my personal life is also entering in a new cycle. Due to an illness in my family and a new job I got recently I will have to stay more time in Lisbon that I would wish, and I will have available much less time for the farm. So I have two options:
a) to hire workers like in a classical farm
b) to continue with a volunteer structure but with some adjustments.
Initially I think a) is safer and since last week I don't have any volunteers in my farm. But, during last two years I received volunteers and overall it was a very interesting experience for me and for many persons that stayed with me on the farm. Therefore I will try to maintain the volunteer system with some adaptations:
1. I want to form a small group of long term volunteers and I will be willing to share with them some results of my project and give a small pocket money; they should be responsible persons that love nature and are willing to commit for longer periods. They will lead the remaining volunteers.
2. My son Daniel, that is a last year student of agronomical engineering will be in charge of the technical aspects of the project; I will have also the support of experienced people.
3. We will come on weekends for guidance and support.

So I am willing to try this. If you feel that you can fit the profile of a person of that group please write to me to discuss the details.
