Skye Trekking Centre is a Horse Riding School located on the beautiful Isle of Skye.

We are looking for hard working, responsible, friendly employees who have experience working with horses and are competent at handling horses for the busy 2018 season. The position will be from April - September.

PAID WORK - Main jobs include walking out on rides with clients (1 hour treks), preparing horses for rides (grooming and tacking up), and general yard work (skipping out boxes, tack cleaning etc.) Schooling horses and riding out on treks will also be offered depending on riding ability. Working hours 9am - 4pm Tuesday - Friday.

In exchange for your accommodation, you will assist Jenny on her croft two days per week. This includes planting and harvesting vegetables, and any maintenance work.

Accommodation - You will be staying in a static caravan shared with one other employee. The caravan is a five minute walk from the stables and is owned by Jenny. The toilet in the caravan is a compost one and there is cold running water within the caravan but showering can be done in Jennys house.

Please bring sensible footwear and waterproof clothing!

Thanks for looking! :)
