We currently have no vacancies.

We are a family of 3, and have a dog, Tess (super friendly) and 6 chooks.

We have a native bush and organic/permaculture principled garden property with stunning river and valley views in southern Tasmania. We are less than 10 minutes drive to the nearest village of Cygnet and 45 minutes to Hobart.

If you don't have a car, we can offer to drive you to Cygnet, Huonville or Hobart etc. or the bus stop is a 2 km walk.

Accommodation is a private cabin, fully self contained and separate from the main house. All furniture, bedding, towels and cooking utensils are provided. We have super-fast NBN.

We are wanting 12 hours per week of your time in exchange for rent. You provide your own meals.

We have made good progress establishing the garden beds and are looking to expand our growing areas and keep improving the soil.

We are looking for general help around the property, everything from planting, weeding, mulching, wood stacking, landscaping, walking the dog, looking after the chooks.

You are welcome to join in our family life as often or as little as you'd like.
