Hey Helpers!

*** we are looking for motivated people to help in our little cafe pizzeria for January. Paid work can be available, Work visa & IRD number required ***

We would like to welcome you in our unique place surrounded by bush next to the Beautiful Abel Tasman National Park and overlooking Golden Bay.

We live in an earth house built by ourselves, our property is totally spray free and off the grid: we generate our own electricity and we are lucky to have our own stream water source!

Work is helping on the property establishing trees, gardens, sometimes building projects.

We can offer an experience in our cute little earth building cafe pizzeria over summer (paid work available with Work visa & IRD number required).
Ideally a stay of 2-3 weeks is good.
At this time we mostly ask for 4h/day, 1 day off a week, xtra paid work available when very busy.

Carole is a French girl of 32 and Crian is a Kiwi guy of 42. We also have a dog, a cat, chickens & gentle geese.

Accommodation is in an eco-friendly earth building. We use compost toilets at home.
We offer free WiFi at the cafe.

Being right next to the Abel Tasman means there are many nice forests walks and beaches to explore, and a nice waterfall down the road.
You can walk the whole northern part of the Abel Tasman during your day off, as the property is very near Pigeon saddle.
We live at 30 minutes from Takaka, and you can easily hitchhike during summer.

This is a very good experience for people keen to learn about alternative lifestyles,eco-friendly buildings, want a cafe experience and are looking genuinely for a real life in the bush!

We look forward to welcoming you,

Carole & Crian
