Our property is a beautiful domaine of 22 acres in the Corbières near Lagrasse, SW France. The house has a swimming pool and tennis court plus incredible views of vineyards and medieval château. The Mediterranean beaches and the mountains of the Pyrenees are close by.

Over the past few years we have been working on clearing the pine forest which surrounds our property so that people can walk around it and enjoy the views and tranquility. But there is so much more to do! We would like to invite two Helpxers to come and stay in the house and work on the land which consists of a pine forest, 2 ponds and a river. We would like a commitment of a minimum of two weeks working 4-5 hours/day.

In return for food and accommodation, the type of work you would be asked to do would be a mixture of:

- Working in woodland clearing scrub and logs

- Building hides for observing wild animals

- Reconstructing stone walls

- Strimming and chainsawing

- Raking, weeding, pruning.

- Varnishing woodwork

- Moving large logs

- Chipping wood

You must already have experience of using a chain-saw and strimmer and don't mind doing heavy lifting. We look forward to welcoming you here.
