South West WA Equestrian Agistment and Training Centre

Eligible for 2nd Year Visa's applications.

MUST HAVE RECENT horse experience for feeding, handling of horses.
Includes preparing feeds, feeding out feeds & hay, rugging, leading, grooming & saddling of horses.
Experience with preparing horses (washing/plating) for competition also good.

Daily Farm work required-
checking stock & water troughs, assist with general fencing, paddock management & irrigation repairs.

Seasonal pasture & weed management jobs.
Watering of trees and plants around property.

A family friendly young girl would be welcomed to live in with our family, have her own room and shared bathroom with our two boys (8& 11 yrs) Assistance with the boys travel to the bus stop required so applicant must have their Driver's License and be experienced on Australian Roads.

Living in the family home, the Applicant will be expected to be tidy and respectful. The applicant is responsible for cleaning up after herself, keep her room & bathroom clean and assist with dishes/meals/kitchen chores - general family contributions by us all.

Hours in return are Mon- Thurs approx 5hrs per day & Frid & Sat mornings
Friday, Saturday afternoons & Sunday's rotated with other staff.

Assistance at competitions on weekends will be required as arranged in advance.

Applicant must have very good communication skills, be organised and tidy
and be able to work independently.

Non smokers only!

Horse riding on the beach & local forest can be offered in lieu of extra work if helper keen & able!
