Helpers needed for Harvesting garlic now !!!
Needed for 1 (one) week only 'til Monday 23 December

High on a hill opposite the foothills of the Great Dividing Ranges you will find our 72 acre farm with rolling hills and beautiful views, peaceful energy, a swimming pool, all of the mod conveniences, Wi Fi, LARGE digital TV, coffee machine (be your own barista) and a tipi ... not to mention the kangaroos, eagles, parrots, the odd turtle and a resident echidna. Oh and of course about 60 sheep and 3 alpacas :)

We are a small community of about 25 students studying spirituality. We are of mixed ages, backgrounds and professions.

Currently it is harvest time, so we need a lot more person power to help get the garlic out of the ground and prepare it for drying.

Harvesting involves:
- weeding by hand,
- harvesting on a tractor
- stringing the garlic up by hand into bunches
(to dry out in our large shed.)

You are welcome to come and stay, with your choice of either sleeping in the house or in the tipi, hours of work negotiable. Great kitchen, great food, great company. Great to meet you!

General Garlic Calendar
April - Planting
May to November - Weeding
November / December - Harvesting
January - Cutting tied garlic down and topping and tailing (by machine)
February onward - producing product
